Drain before dormancy
Stamped channels are intended to distribute electrolyte during processing and assist gravity drainage afterward. Rinsing and dewetting form part of the proposed preservation cycle.

Acoustic coupling is being explored to help release pinned droplets. The sequence illustrates that mechanism; it does not specify a validated ultrasonic frequency, amplitude or drying time.
Verify before storage
The station must establish a reproducible preservation endpoint before returning a cassette to the rack. Residual moisture, corrosion, retained capacity and the energy consumed by preservation are central research questions.
